Advice Following Catalytic Converter Theft Reports – Bracknell & Slough

Officers are currently investigating a series of catalytic converter thefts across Bracknell and Slough, which begun in January.

These offences usually happen overnight, and Toyota Auris’ being most frequently targeted. However, a number of other makes and models have also been affected.

Whilst we are investigating, officers are asking residents to be mindful of the where they park.

If possible, try to park in view of CCTV cameras, and in well-lit areas, as well as reversing up against walls and other objects so offenders cannot have the room to cut the catalytic converters off.
